About the author

Joanne Mordue qualified as a nutritional therapist in 2010. Over the years, she inadvertently ended up specialising in irritable bowel syndrome, because it’s so prevalent. Interestingly, as her patients’ digestive health improved, their mental health symptoms often improved too. This led to Joanne's personal interest in the gut-brain connection. As a result, she formulated a three-point plan comprising dietary changes, lifestyle changes and nutritional supplements as a holistic approach to her patients’ health and wellbeing. Joanne lives and works in York, in the north of England.
